Sumatran Orangutan Society

Founded in 2001, Sumatran Orangutan Society has a mission to secure the future of Sumatran orangutans and their forests.

They work towards giving Sumatran orangutans the chance of living wild with a more thriving population in a protected rain forest home.

SOS helps to tackle the causes of deforestation as well as the symptoms. In Sumatra they support conservation programmes and partnerships, capacity building and fundraising for front line organisations, as well as advocating globally for changes to government policy and corporate practise to enhance conservation outcomes.

With the destruction of Sumatra's rain forests, orangutans have never been more at risk. With fewer than 14,000 Sumatran orangutans and 800 Tapanuli orangutans remaining in the wild, these are now both sadly classified as critically endangered.

With each purchase of an Orangutan product on our website, you will be supporting this wonderful charity and will help towards securing the orangutans future.

Hounds First Sighthound Rescue

Hounds First Sighthound Rescue was founded in 2013, rehoming Greyhounds along with other sighthounds such as Lurchers, Whippets, Salukis and more across England, Scotland and Wales.

The majority of dogs they have under their care are placed into loving foster homes where they are assessed and if needed rehabilitated. Some dogs who have more complex behavioural needs are kept in rented kennels until they are ready to move into a foster home.

Hounds First also help other sighthound rescue centres and charities where possible.

As a charity they are always looking for more volunteers, donations, foster carers, and you can also sponsor or potentially adopt a dog!

With each purchase of a Greyhound product from our website, you will be donating towards helping this charity to find many sighthounds their forever homes.

Staffie and Stray Rescue

Founded in 2014, Staffie and Stray Rescue began after its founder, Calli, volunteered in rescue centres and saw how many staffies found themselves unwanted and waiting to be adopted. They aim to help as many Staffordshire Bull Terriers as possible and to also change the stigma surrounding this loving breed of dog.

SSR specialise in taking in more difficult dogs that are considered in the rescue world as harder to rehome. Many of their dogs come from the pounds where they have been abandoned and unclaimed.

As well as rehoming dogs, SSR campaign to change peoples assumptions and negative attitudes towards Staffies, who are sadly often portrayed as dangerous. They hope that through campaigning they are able to encourage more people to rehome this breed of dog.

With each purchase of a Staffie product from our website, 10% will be donated to this wonderful charity.

Marine Conservation Society

It is Marine Conservation Society's vision and mission to see seas and coasts full of life, where nature flourishes and people thrive. They aim to lead political, cultural and social change for healthy seas and coasts that support abundant marine wildlife, sustainable livelihoods and enjoyment for all.

MCS work to ensure sustainable use of the seas by minimising harm when we harvest resources, for example through fishing. They also work to prevent and clean up marine litter and pollution, and to minimise damage from development and climate change.

The MCS Marine Turtle Conservation Programme works to coordinate conservation research in the UK and the UK Overseas Territories in the Caribbean, and to educate a wide audience about marine turtles and their conservation needs. One project includes The Turks and Caicos Islands Turtle Project, which works for better management of the marine turtle populations found in these islands waters. This collaborative project aims to involve the TCI Government and fishermen in the management and monitoring of turtles, the project also uses hi-tech satellite tagging of green and hawksbill turtles allowing them to follow their lives at sea to understand and to find out how best to protect these animals.

With each sale of a Sea Turtle item on our website, 10% is donated to this wonderful charity!
